My Story - Lisa Cox

I had been to seventh day adventist since the age of 5. I have always had a problem with their doctrine as well as certain verses in the bible that just didn’ t make any sense at all. I determined that I’d had enough after long years of fruitless study and trying to make it all make sense. I had grown tired of the hypocrisy I saw in my church and I had a particular problem with the secondary role women were taught to play in the church as well as in society. I have mostly eliminated religion from my life but it is a long journey and I have every confidence that I will succeed in freeing myself entirely from religious dogma.
